What We Move

Our Freight Services

Full Container Load

FCL Ocean Freight

Full container load shipments give you exclusive use of a container at a fixed rate, ideal for high-volume cargo. As a licensed NVOCC, Syqora Group issues bills of lading directly and negotiates competitive rates across all major trade lanes.

  • 20ft, 40ft, 40HC, and 45ft container options
  • Trans-Pacific, trans-Atlantic, Asia-Europe, Asia-Americas lanes
  • Bill of lading issuance as licensed NVOCC
  • Port-to-port and door-to-door service
  • Carrier rate negotiation and optimization
  • Reefer, open-top, and flat rack containers available

Container Types

20ft Standard ~28 CBM
Max payload: 21,700 kg. Best for dense, heavy cargo.
40ft Standard ~58 CBM
Max payload: 26,500 kg. Most common ocean container.

Less than Container Load

LCL Consolidation

LCL consolidation lets you ship smaller volumes without paying for a full container. Your cargo shares space with other shipments, and you pay only for the cubic meters you use. Ideal for startups, samples, and mid-volume importers.

  • Pay only for the space your cargo occupies
  • Weekly sailings from major Chinese ports
  • Co-loading with vetted, compliant partners
  • Origin and destination CFS coordination
  • House bill of lading issuance as NVOCC
  • Suitable for shipments from 1 CBM and up

LCL vs FCL: When to Use Which

Choose LCL when:
  • Your cargo is under 15 CBM
  • You cannot wait to fill a full container
  • You are importing samples or trial orders
  • Cash flow requires smaller, more frequent orders
Choose FCL when:
  • Your cargo exceeds 15-20 CBM
  • You need dedicated container security
  • Cargo is time-sensitive or fragile
  • You have regular, high-volume orders
Not sure which fits? Our team will advise based on your cargo dimensions and budget.

Common Questions

Freight FAQ

A Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier (NVOCC) is a federally licensed freight intermediary authorized to issue its own bills of lading and take on legal carrier liability. A standard freight forwarder typically acts as an agent and does not issue house bills of lading with the same regulatory standing. As an FMC-licensed NVOCC (#118446), Syqora Group has the legal authority to negotiate directly with vessel carriers, issue HBLs, and be held accountable as a carrier under US maritime law. This translates to tighter compliance, stronger documentation, and better negotiating leverage with ocean carriers.
FCL (Full Container Load) means your cargo fills and has exclusive use of an entire shipping container. You pay a flat rate for the whole container regardless of how full it is. LCL (Less than Container Load) means your cargo shares container space with other shippers' cargo, and you pay based on the cubic meters (CBM) or weight your shipment occupies. FCL is usually more economical for large shipments over 15-20 CBM, while LCL is ideal for smaller volumes, samples, or startups not yet moving full containers.
Transit times from major Chinese ports (Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Ningbo) to US West Coast ports (Long Beach, Los Angeles) typically range from 14 to 18 days on direct sailings. Transit to East Coast ports (New York, Savannah, Houston) via the Panama Canal generally takes 25 to 35 days. Actual transit can vary by carrier, port congestion, and whether your cargo requires transshipment. We provide transit estimates specific to your origin and destination in every quote.
Yes. Syqora Group coordinates DG shipments by both ocean and air, subject to carrier acceptance and applicable regulations. For ocean freight, we ensure IMDG Code compliance and proper DG documentation. For air freight, we work within IATA DGR standards including lithium battery and hazmat classification requirements. All DG bookings require the shipper to provide an accurate Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and proper UN number classification. Contact operations@syqora.com with your SDS and commodity details for a DG-specific quote.
Both. Syqora Group can arrange the full door-to-door journey: factory pickup in China, export customs, ocean or air freight, US import customs clearance, inland drayage, and final delivery to your warehouse or fulfillment center. We can also provide port-to-port service if you have your own customs broker and inland carrier. We tailor the scope of service to what you actually need, rather than requiring you to take the full package.
Section 301 tariffs apply to a wide range of goods imported from China and can add 7.5% to 25% (or more) on top of standard MFN duty rates, depending on the HTS code and tariff list. Syqora Group conducts HTS classification and Section 301 analysis as part of our customs service, identifying the applicable tariff rate for your commodity. In some cases, there may be exclusions, FTZ opportunities, or alternative sourcing options that reduce exposure. We present the full landed cost picture so you can make informed sourcing and logistics decisions.
