AQL 2.5 Standard

Quality Control

Quality problems caught in China are a fraction of the cost of dealing with defective goods that reach your customer. Syqora Group's QC team conducts inspections at every critical stage of production, using internationally recognized AQL 2.5 sampling standards.

  • Pre-production inspection: materials and components verified
  • During-production inspection (DUPRO): process and quality audit mid-run
  • Pre-shipment inspection (PSI) to AQL 2.5 standard
  • Loading supervision and container seal documentation
  • Detailed defect reporting with photos and corrective actions
  • Inline resolution management: no bad product leaves the floor

The Process

How Sourcing Works

A proven five-step process that takes you from product idea to goods delivered at your warehouse.

01

Product Brief

You describe your product: target price, quantity, timeline, and compliance requirements. Reference images and specs accelerate the process.

02

Factory Matching

We identify and vet 3 to 5 factories, audit their facilities, and verify certifications before presenting options to you with full transparency.

03

Sampling

Prototypes and samples are produced, reviewed by our team, and shipped for your approval before any production commitment is made.

04

Production & QC

Production starts with inspections at key milestones: pre-production, DUPRO, and final pre-shipment inspection to AQL 2.5.

05

Shipping

Once goods pass final QC, we arrange freight using our NVOCC service to deliver directly to your warehouse or fulfillment center.

Common Questions

Sourcing FAQ

The timeline depends on product complexity. For off-the-shelf or lightly customized products, we can complete factory matching and initial sampling within 3 to 5 weeks. Custom OEM or new product development with tooling typically takes 10 to 16 weeks from brief to production-ready sample. Add 4 to 6 weeks for production itself, plus shipping time (14 to 35 days ocean). For clients with urgent needs, we can accelerate the factory matching phase and prioritize suppliers with available capacity. Share your timeline upfront and we will structure a plan around it.
Minimum order quantities are set by the factory, not by Syqora Group. MOQs vary widely by product category: promotional items might start at 500 to 1,000 units, while electronics or apparel could require 500 to 5,000 units per SKU. Part of our value is negotiating MOQs down for new buyers and first-time orders, especially when we present you as a long-term customer with growth potential. Tell us your target quantity and budget and we will identify factories whose MOQs align with your needs.
Yes. We coordinate certification requirements for products that require UL listing, FCC ID, CE marking, or other regulatory approvals. This includes identifying factories already certified or capable of achieving certification, coordinating lab testing with accredited third-party labs, and managing the documentation process. We flag certification requirements at the brief stage so testing timelines are factored into the project plan, not discovered as a delay after production has begun.
Quality maintenance on repeat orders requires active monitoring, not just a one-time audit. Syqora Group maintains ongoing factory relationships that include periodic re-audits, pre-production review of raw materials before each production run, and pre-shipment inspections to the same AQL 2.5 standard for every order. We also maintain golden sample records from your approved sample that serve as the quality benchmark for all future production. Factories that deliver consistently receive more business from us; those that do not are replaced.
Yes. While our primary operations and deepest factory relationships are in China, Syqora Group also sources from Vietnam, India, and Taiwan. Vietnam is increasingly popular for textiles, footwear, and furniture where clients are diversifying away from China to reduce Section 301 tariff exposure. India is a strong option for industrial goods, PPE, and large-scale textiles. Taiwan covers specialty tech components and precision manufacturing. We help clients analyze total landed cost across sourcing origins and recommend the best fit based on product category, volume, and compliance requirements.
Yes. For clients selling on Amazon, we coordinate FNSKU labeling, poly bagging, bundling, and carton marking at the factory before goods are loaded. Doing FBA prep at origin in China is significantly more cost-effective than having it done at a US prep center. We provide your manufacturer with Amazon's packaging and labeling requirements and verify compliance during our pre-shipment inspection. We can also arrange shipment directly to Amazon FBA warehouses using our freight service, with all documentation aligned to Amazon's receiving requirements.
